I read as "DEPRESSED CROSSING AHEAD". What's your take...

    The car looks like it's flipping upside-down, which makes me want to JUMP THE CROSSING AT HIGH SPEED. (Wheee!) It also made me double-take, being a half-block from home...

    The person on the cross must have magnets on his shoes.
